Gallipoli a place of peaceful gullies, rivers, rocks and mountains.
The wind gushes through the trees
GO GO GO!
Big men jump from Helicopters like whales migrate north.
A man rode his donkey through the mist
BANG,BOOM,CLICK
Guns loading grenades clicking.
He rode in saving men and saving women.
He rode that donkey through Gallipoli but...
The 19th of May came with a beautiful dawn,
He was shot through the heart like a bird hits the window.
Although he is dead and nothing but dust,
his soul is still left for people like us
He is the one,the Anzac Legend.
