I yawned and stepped out of my burrow,
All the locals' brows started to furrow.
Dammit!Dammit! I blew my cover,
I took my chance and I didn't have another.
Those humans weren't meant to see me,
So what the hell will I have for tea?
Now that they are alert and awake,
How will I eat them for heavens sake.
But never fear I'll find a way,
For I am a bunyip and I'll eat today.
I rumbled and grumbled and stood on my toes,
And crept away quietly to eat up my foes.
Quietly, quietly, just like a mouse,
I slowly approached the first little house.
I tapped on the door and opened up wide,
And the silly little humans walked straight inside.
