Parents are like writing a book
They chose where the pen goes and where to look.
When you need help they put commas and full stops
But if you make a wrong decision then they will not.
Eventually you will be able to decide for yourself
And guide the pen to wherever from a mall to a bookshelf.
Whatever choice you make it will be writ
In this book where your life's history is never forfeit.
So when you are writing this book wherever your story goes
Make sure you thank you parents for their last full stop when their book is closed.
