Hope pierces the dark silhouette of despair,
As bonds of untrue friendship tear.
Truth seeps through the shadow of lies,
The clouds depart before your eyes.
You might have travelled the yellow brick road,
But the gates to the Emerald City are closed.
The careless heartless world is no more,
A window may be closed but open is a door.
Have another turn to roll the dice,
Take the next wave it is your path to light.
Even fate sometimes makes mistakes,
This is a second chance for you to take.
Use it how you won’t regret,
For it’s a chance more than most get.
