Raindrop

RAIN
The pitch-dark clouds send diamond-like raindrops
From the sky, like rocks being thrown to the ground
Making it splatter and ripple on to grounds
Like a tsunami spreading.
As the rain drops from the sky
Like a crying girl’s teardrop,
The wind blows the rain like a tornado
On to windows making it beat like bullets.
The rain rushes down windows like ants having a race.
As the rain weakens, the rain becomes
As small as a pea until
Nothing is left but puddles.
