You hide in the shadows,
Only I can see you
You smile that smile I love
As you beckon me towards you

You drag me deep through the forest
You whisper in my ear
“Come away with me, we can be free”
Not knowing, I said yes

We ran and ran
Deeper and deeper
Faster and faster
You smiled the smile I loved
As you pulled me close

What was I doing?
How stupid am I?
What have I done?
