Mother Nature are you there? We really need your power
This earth of yours is suffocating and crumbling by the hour
It’s not that we are bad people we just live day by day
But resources are starting to run out and we begin pray
That someday a miracle will happen then conflict and climate change will end
But at the moment oil, coal and polar bears are beginning to expend
The ozone and UV level statistics race around my head
Then a news reporter states the dangers of paint containing lead
So I ask as a person can we change our ways?
Or are we doomed to poverty and famine and a number on our days?
If this is to be our ending is there a silver lining?
Does it turn out there is a new planet that has just fallen into an aligning?
But as a people can we question your mystic and your magic?
Will you give us time to change so the future won’t be tragic?
