Joining Life

We place our hands together
As your future begins to weather
Why is life so unfair?
Your feet are cut and rather bare
You’ve been left all alone
Torn apart by a fierce Cyclone
As I look you in the face
You seem to fade to a far off place
I clench my fist and sit and cry
It’s our decisions that have made you die
I run and try to join you again
My heart is full of immense pain
So as we place our hands together
We will become as light as a feather
Never parting, becoming one
Life has only just begun!
