You sit at the back of the room,
Behind the cupboard, there you loom.
Sitting upright when I glance at you,
You lounge all day, with nothing to do.
Having not a worry in the world,
You relax with your tail all curled.
Your eyes drill a hole in my back
Oh how I wish to give you a smack.
As I carry on with my stressful work,
You await the moment to go berserk.
Being constantly denied your food,
Your long tongue tends to protrude.
After eating, you roar with delight,
Rolling around, not a food scrap in sight.
When you’ve got energy, you’re always so keen
Oh vacuum cleaner, you’re a lazy machine.
