What once was full is now empty
A day without you feels like a century
My Heart is full of sorrow and sadness
Without you there it turns to madness.
My love for you will never go shy
It’s as bright as the golden sun in the sky
I remember each day since we were wed
So a tear I will shed when you are dead
Life was happy, full of cheer
Now death so sappy filled with fear.
Stay here close by my side
Till in death do we abide.
Death has had its final say
So you died on a dreary Tuesday
In heaven you wait till God knows when
Until at last where together again.
