Day On The Yabbie Boat

Excellence Award in the 'Step Write Up 2011' competition

A day on the yabbie boat, I have no time to write that note
Up and at them early at six, to shovel down some weet bix.
Already on the deck by seven, does not sound like my type of heaven.
Got some yabbies by seven thirty, Ken is starting to feel a bit hurdy.
By Eight, I am feeling great,
Ken is feeling sea sick; I think I saw a weet bix
When eight thirty comes around, the yabbies faces are looking round
I caught nine at nine, all of them are mine, Ken is not feeling to fine
It is smoko time, time to stop the rhyme
One hour later, here comes the party caper
Did I mention we were having a party; everyone is invited except for Marty
I am starting to feel weird; I don’t think it is the shave of the beard
That’s it a yabbie bit of my toe, so now he is my foe
Woke up from a coma in a hospital bed, the colour of my toe is red
Now I have a cast, so I can’t put up the mast
On the yabbie boat, now I can write that note.
