Fallen
Falling, is the last thing an angel feels
The feel of the wind whipping through my broken wings
Unable to catch the wind right to fly
But I did not try, I deserve my fall from grace
Crumpling on the ground from both pain and disgrace
I couldn't see anything but the blackness around me
The feeling of slithering under my skin washing over me
Knowing what has been done I sit in absolute silence
In the darkness I see a beautiful glow
The feeling of despair and anger still lingers
But all I can notice is this glowing light
Beckoning my lost hope from the depths of despair
As the light came closer the features became clearer
Then I recognized who this beautiful glow was
And I knew this is the end of my existence
The one I fell for the one I love is the one to end what is left of me
As the ghostly appirition of Her touched me inthe middle of my back
I was overwhelmed by the gentleness of her touch
And the pain subsided and my broken wings disappeared
Only the scars of what I did remain forever
I looked up from the ground wanting to gaze at her face
But found nothing but Earths night sky and trees
In the silence I look around to see that I was crouched in a clearing alone
Then I realise what I have truly done I'll be forever alone
