Hanging Off A Cliff Face

Throw your memories all away
Wave goodbye to what you love
Stand among the clouds
Because now you're right above
Sing a heartfelt sad song
While your toes curl in the wind
Spread your arms out wide
Shun memories where you grinned
Feet hang off the cliff face
Mind hangs on the edge
Tears held back by eyelids
It all teeters on a ledge
Watch your life flash by you
See all the things you've done
Let the memories engulf you
As you let go one by one
Hear the silence loudly
Watch the waves slide out below
Smell the fate that will await you
This is your final show
Step out in the sunset
A final, deathly drop
Feel the wind chomp down around you
You finally feel on top
Your young life merely wasted
Pushed to limits by your peers
You can thank them for your suffering
They were your living fears
Your mind comes to a rest
Your rigid frame forever still
The memories have stopped coming
You died at your own will
