I used to live in the country,
But now the city is my home,
I’m trying to get use to it,
Living in a dome,
It’s noisy in the city,
Hear the barking hound,
Watch the building-cramped horizon,
Sky no longer meets the ground,
I go inside to lay on my bed,
Still light out-side,
But I want to rest my head,
The pollution in the air,
Making me dizzy,
No-one else seems to care,
They’re all too busy
My eyes are heavy,
I start to count sheep,
My eyes shut,
Then I drift to sleep.
