He is the one that stands out in the crowd
The reason I get up every day
For him I would go from quiet to loud
And change to whom and/or what that I pray

He is the one that I look to in strife
And the one that knows the most about me
I always ask him for advice on my life
Or even his opinion on that tree

His smile is the light in a dark, dark room
I hear his name whispered by the breeze
But I keep my feelings in a cocoon
To save the rejection and the tears

I see him with her every day and night
But I am just a shadow under her light
