Stiff and snaps,
Hard and light,
Pointy and straight,
But don’t take a bite.

Put in a pot,
Wait until it boils,
Bubble bubble bubble,
Out it comes in coils.

Slippery and soft,
Wobbly and sticky,
Squashy and cool,
Stretchy and icky.

Tangle it and shape it,
Knot it and drop it,
Throw it on paper,
You don’t need to glue it.
