I wonder if anyone sees the real me,
The mask I wear even I can’t see,
But the mask won’t be gone,
Until I am happy to be me.
I have so much energy but my light is out,
So the real me can never come out,
Today the mask comes away,
And I am happy to be me,
And it feels more than ok.
Lately my light is higher then ever I’ve seen,
School is starting, things are changing,
And I‘m so ever keen,
And I’ll never be mean.
It is still the weird old me,
Just think of me as the brand new teen.
