Magnificent falls, pools of blue,
brilliant reds of every hue.
Green and white of ghost gums that stand,
in red and gold of rock and sand.
Be it fiction or reality,
this amazing sight of which I see,
the beauty stays, so rich and pure,
pulling me in with strange allure.
Surely the mind can’t conjure this.
This perfect sight of joy and bliss.
These sparking streams that fall in sheets,
blowing sweet breath across my cheeks.
To feel alive is to be unclaimed.
To walk though a land untouched, untamed.
To float with ease in pools of green,
as a swift setting sun makes crimson cliffs gleam.
