Rain
Rain is falling, spitting, pouring,
Waking me up in the early morning,
Listening to the spat of rain;
Deciding what to do today
‘Pitter patter pitter patter’
Rain meets earth and goes ‘ka-splatter’
Quenching fires and filling lakes,
With floods of water that it makes
Rain is wanted,
Rain is needed
As planet Earth
Gets overheated
We may not notice
As we live every day,
But the next generation
Is going to pay
The Earth will explode,
And billions will die,
The human race gone,
In the blink of an eye
We need to take action,
The lakes have been drained,
The rain will not prosper,
We’re dying in vain
We need to stop
Polluting the air
‘Coz without rain,
Leaves only despair
But what can be done?
How can we survive?
As we go about
Our day to day lives
To start with,
Be concerned,
Before the Earth and all humans
Get BURNED!!
