You’ve been there since the start,
Since the first time I took a breath,
Since the first time I cried,
You’ve always been there.
You’ve always been there for me,
Through the good and the bad,
I know I can depend on you,
When it all goes wrong.
You’re there to wipe away my tears,
And to hold me in your arms,
You’re there to tell me it’s ok,
When I need reassurance.
You’re like an angel sent from heaven,
With your love and compassion,
Words cannot express,
Just how much I love you.
