Drowning in pools of sorrow,
Gasping for trust to see a new tomorrow.
Anger flaring in moments of despair,
Why can’t you hear my fearful blare?
Heart wrenched shadows pin me down,
I’m a lost spirit and I can’t find the ground.
This is shredding me, piece by piece,
The fiends are going to have a feast.
Come now or it’s too late,
Because I am trapped inside my own gate.
Lust, gluttony and maliciousness put me in my grave,
They all take over now I can’t be saved.
