It felt like my heart shuttered when they brought baby Iran in for life support at just 1 hour old. After a night with the little baby boy I felt sad and sorry for him. He had no heart beat but every now and then he would take tiny breaths. It was like he was a baby doll sleeping at night. He would twitch, but I would always be there to comfort him.
His mum passed on giving birth and his dad was unknown so he had no family, all alone. As cords and tape wrapped around his small body, even though he was just a baby, I really felt like he was my own baby and I wanted to hold him tight and say that everything was going to be just right.
