The Rare Orange Bellied Parrot

In a beautiful show of vivid colours,
The Orange-Bellied Parrot stretched it wings.
It's rumpled feathers then smoothed back down
as it stared at its surroundings.
It shifted from foot to foot,
In excited anticipation.
While it searched the sky ahead,
And watched the ground below,
It took off from it's perch,
in a magnificent show.
As the wind slipped through it's feathers,
and it glided through the air,
It let out a significant cry,
Wild, free and rare.
