The dark clouds rumble and growl,
Threatening the souls below.
The ocean beats a heavy rhythm against the boat,
Like a drummer playing the beat,
The sails blowing like mad,
Trying to run away with the wind.
The sailor battles the sea,
Thinking of his sweetheart back on dry land.
A wave crashes down on the boat,
The sky roars with rage,
As it’s firing down another wave of destruction,
The sailor stands helpless,
His last words are whispers to God.
Before the waves devour the boat.
