I like the thought of my childhood
It was filled with horror and tears
The sound of gunshots and windows smashing
Have never left my ears
Together me a rosie
We faught a battle on our own
Those memories will stay with us
They will never leave me alone
No child should ever go through this
No adults for a fact
Even now water fills my eyes
And my heart is forever cracked
You might be wondering what this is about
And I'm gald it wasnt you
It hurts to even tell you now but
These were my days in World War 2
