The dams are record low
The grass is dull and we all say

What why where

And the dams are low

The heat the heat
Come on rain
The beat the beat
Come on rain
The dry sweeps the land like a broom to dust

Our grass is dull
And the heat is here all too near

The rain drums on the window
Hooray hurrah the rains are here
And the drought is there
