Daddy’s hands, always soft ready to comfort
Daddy’s hands, so hard with consequences
Daddy’s advice, so true, so real
Daddy’s love so amazing to feel.
I love my daddy so much, remember his touch
Feel his kiss on my cheek
As I sit on his knee,
The pain in his eyes as I watch him die
Clasp his hand and never let go
Wish that I could go too
I miss my daddy so much since he’s gone.
Can’t tell my troubles with my love life
Listen to his laugh as I lament my strife,
Hug the pillow closer as I cry
And remember everyday before my daddy died.
