Rain in London
A silent night, a distant lamp
A sudden fright, a painful cramp
A ripple in creek, a frog in drain
A typical leak, a gentle rain
A cricket calls, a night bird hoots
A line of walls, a steam train toots
A window blacks, a curtain closes
A yard that lacks a bunch of roses
A steady fall, a fork of light
A tree so tall, a flame so bright
A dead branch floats, a night bird shows
A line of boats, a dark brook flows
A cruel wind whistles, a meadow of weeds
A patch of thistles, a land of needs
A ray of sunshine...
