Day And Night

Where darkness goes there is always light
Shining above us ever so bright
The colour of gold in a sea of blue
Showing us the day is new
It slowly moves at its own pace
Bringing changes on its way
And as the day reaches the end
The dark returns as an old friend
The night is black with a shade of white
Followed by many silver lights
They watch over us as is the way
It has been since the very first day
