Sadness is like an overcast day,
Like a withered and dead tree.
It sounds like a pin drop in an empty chamber,
Like a hollow morgue.
It tastes bland,
Like nothing.
It smells like death and decay,
Like salty tears.
Sadness looks like a long, black tunnel,
Empty and without end.
And makes you feel drained and hollow,
Empty and without purpose.
