To our soldiers on the battlefield
And to those who protect at home
For the countless hours given
To keep our safety known

To their strength and courage
That helps them in the fight
Their desire to protect
Keeps them going day and night

To the family and friends
Who wait with open arms
Their hearts and homes empty
Until their loved ones are out of harm

To those that we have lost
For the consequences of war
Know that we will always remember you
And your fight to protect us all
