Back To School!

I’ve been waiting out my holiday all alone,
But, when I arrive at school, I feel like going home.
I step into school as a great year nine,
And I feel like the whole school is all mine!

As I help a lost year eight find her class,
I suddenly remember to get to mine fast!
As I race to class at lightning speed,
I hope I’ve got everything I need.

With science, maths and history,
The future seems like a mystery.
My teachers are all quite nice,
I hope my answers are precise!

As my watch told me to get to class,
I really wished I could pass.
School might go my way this year,
If only I don’t forget my sports gear!
