Falling Down

Down, down, I keep falling down,
Spiralling out of control.
In shadows and night, I will drown,
The loneliness is taking its toll.
Where is the light, where is the hope,
Where is my Saviour?
What do I do, how can I cope?
I need a Saviour.
I am so close to breaking down,
So close to losing my soul.
I did not see that thorny crown,
His arms ready to console.
Out of the darkness came a golden rope,
There stands my Saviour.
I will hold tight on that faint hope,
With faith in my Saviour.
