She thought she could trust them,
They were her friends after all,
Maybe they were different,
Behind their secret wall.
The wall of which behind they spread those rumors,
Those terrible, terrible lies,
With each sentence they say they feel more alive,
But with each word they say, she always dies
Just a little,
Like parts of her fading away,
She was full the day before,
Yet she's empty today
She keeps on walking,
Fading bit by bit,
Not sure if she has the strength,
To give them one big hit.
Not physically, but mentally,
Just to show them how it feels,
To be hurt that many times,
That the pain never heels.
The pain she hides,
Will never go away,
It will always stay in her heart,
In her heart to stay
She may never mention it,
Keep it all locked inside,
But that just shows,
How much she wants it to hide
She looks happy,
They way she walks,
Like she had no worries,
But those worries are hidden between her thoughts
