CALLING DANNY
I call my cat Danny
But I can’t hear a tone.
It seems she is …
Not even at home.
I call my cat Danny
And think: “What a traitor.”
She rustles in her sleeping basket
And says: “I’ll get back to you later.”
I call my cat Danny
She says: “Do not despair.
I have almost finished
Grooming my hair.”
I call my cat Danny
She comes running with a big “Meow”
I think she is all mine …
Maybe for now!
