Finalist in the 'Far Out 2012' competition
I see you there in front of me your face your hands your eyes
I hear you talk I hear you tell your hopes your dreams your lies
I walk with you a sunlit trail Together hand in hand
Then twilight came and you were gone and now alone I stand
The woods are cold the trees are black and the dark is closing in
And you have gone away from me your scar less light has dimmed
Betrayal is an empty space Dark night Cold room alone
And No one can redeem your face Sweet night safe light you’re gone
He walks in beauty like the night of cloudless skies and starry nights
And all that’s best of dark and night Meet in his heart and in his eyes
When I’m down or feeling lonely I roll with you and smile
You take to the limit you lift me Ariel style
You lift your voice and I lift mine two bright ribbons intertwine
I hear the pulse I feel the beat and we sing as one we are complete
Duets are not for one but two and no one else for me but you
