The Peanut Butter Sandwich Monster

The bell rang and it was lunch time. Tommy ran to his bag, grabbed his lunch and sprints
outside. Every day since prep, Tommy has had a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and today is no different. Sitting with his best friend Buzz it’s a normal day, until Buzz asked Tommy
“Do you want half of my vegemite sandwich? As I’m not really hungry.” “Ok” Tommy
answers. Tommy ate the vegemite sandwich and chucks the peanut butter sandwich in the
bin.
That night Tommy was in his bedroom and was about to get into bed, when he heard a noise outside. He walked to his window and opens his curtains. Tommy looked outside and there was his peanut butter sandwich. It had grown legs, arms, eyes, and teeth. It was a peanut butter sandwich monster! He closed his eyes and screamed. When he opened his eyes, he saw the peanut butter sandwich running down the road towards the supermarket.
The next morning it was a weekend and Tommy was waiting for his Dad to finish watching the news, when all of a sudden Tommy heard “someone in a peanut butter sandwich
costume broke into the supermarket last night and strangely stole all of the peanut butter jars...” The news finished then instead of watching TV Tommy asked his Dad to have Buzz
over for a play.
Tommy ran to the phone and rang Buzz. When Buzz picked up his phone Tommy told him to come around as quick as he could. When Buzz came over Tommy told him about what he
had seen and heard. Then Buzz was nervous so Tommy said lets make a plan.
They thought and thought then Tommy wondered “what would be the worst thing to put with a peanut butter sandwich? What would make it taste yuck? Buzz answered “if it was all soggy and wet it would taste disgusting.” Then Tommy replied “I have a plan!” “So we use
water pistols, it’s great!” was Buzz’s response. “But first we need to find where the
sandwich is.” “I don’t know where it is but I think I know where it’s going.” Tommy said.
They grabbed water pistols and filled them. Then ran to the peanut butter factory and
waited. Buzz whispered to Tommy what’s that and pointed. Tommy replied “it’s the peanut
butter sandwich monster and there’s something behind it, it’s got an army!” And there was the peanut butter sandwich monster with an army of peanut butter monsters behind it.
Tommy and Buzz ran towards the peanut butter sandwich and its army and started squirting
them with water and they turned all watery and washed away.
Tommy and Buzz then went down the Street for ice cream and every one was like nothing ever happened. Buzz then said to Tommy looks like we saved the town before it realized it
needed saving! Then they went back to Tommy’s to watch cartoons.
