Sanity Falls

I see the world in silver beams
Trembling light and ghostly gleams
Cold logic stirring liquid's rest
Drowning shadows of the truly blessed
The click and the clack of solitude's wires
The tick and the tock of lonely's pyres
I lost myself in gold's temptation
Lost all silver's good salvation
Empty skies with deathly gain
No falling rests within my name
Myopic minds congealed in lust
Towards the strangers they combust
And eve as fiery depths bloom clear
We fight and struggle with knife and spear
As all that is good makes to finally show
That sanity falls with the final blow.
