Dawn And Dusk

The clouds were there way up high,
Purple, pink and colours awry,
Rain soon to come, stories to be told,
In the midst of a day stormy and cold.
Sunshine hidden behind dim light,
Making the warmth plead and make plight,
The dawn faded and gave way for morn,
Leaving none to be sad and happiness to be born.
The sun broke through the clouds and cages,
To shine and bring hope throughout the ages,
Beasts started to stir and move around,
Making only the slightest of sounds.
The trees swayed in the gentle breeze,
Letting go of the leaves that once they did seize,
To let them fly forever more,
As wanderers to see sights never saw.
