Man’s best friend
Small brown ears,
A big white spot,
My little dog would fit in a teapot.
A big wet nose,
Smelling a rose,
He snuffles around me,
Smelling my clothes.
Give him some gruel,
Watch him drool,
He’ll do a doggy paddle,
If you throw him in the pool!
He thinks it’s great,
At any rate,
If you throw him a ball,
And give him a call,
Back he’ll zip,
and give you a lick.
This is my dog,
a good mate of mine,
If I were a dog,
life would be fine.
