When I swim, I sink. When I am forced to run in the cross-country, I trip over my own feet. If I kick the soccer ball, I end up kicking myself in the forehead. When I try to play tennis, my head becomes the tennis ball. If I try to ride my bike, I wobble and fall and get cuts on my knees. I become a hazard when I attempt to hula-hoop. I can’t skip, I get tangled in the rope. My feet shake when I play netball. I can dance though. My whole body moves to the rhythm and my feet move fluently. My hair whips around and I feel free. I pump my arms and can’t stop smiling. Dancing is a sport, and it’s my sport.
