Taxacaricaturia

300,000 years ago, a new planet formed. The planet was named Taxacaricaturia. And a new race began, the Taxacaricans. These people lived for thousands of years.
But just like Adam and Eve, there were two people to start off: Stephen and Eva.
But this story is based on the year 200 (in Taxacaricaturia), when everything was just like Earth…
1 Stephen
I ran over to Eva’s place but as usual, Eva wasn’t there.
‘Eva! Eva!’ I said.
‘What? Has somebody been born?’ Eva replied.
‘No!’ I say, ‘my house is on FIRE!!’
Eva looks startled. ‘Your house is on what?’ Eva says with a worried voice. ‘My house is on FIRE!’ I scream. I run over to the fire extinguisher and- ‘STOP!’ Yells Eva, ‘don’t pull the trigger!’ I ignore and pull the trigger. “BOOOM!” The fire extinguisher blows up.
And so did Taxacaricaturia.
2 Eva
What has Stephen done? Where are we? Looks familiar. Oh, it was just a dream. Wait a second, where’s Stephen? I walk around without a clue what is happening. Maybe I should go to the Info centre, which would at least give me the first clue. Okay. Calm down, calm down. I hurry down the road, into Artherarter city. Wait a second. No, no, no. This can’t be. It’s, it’s, it’s...
3 Stephen
Where has Eva gone? Well, I think it’s better off going home. That won’t do any harm. After about ten minutes, I arrive at Flinteens street. But, where is the signpost? Where are the villagers? The houses? MY house?
Well, lucky I’ve found out that some planets look like others. I suppose this is a different planet or an asteroid has just hit the city.
Either way, I’m not going to survive.
4 Eva
It can’t be. The city has gone. Not one brick is left. That’s it. That’s why I’m calling out. 3…2…1…
‘STEPHEN!!!’ Not one reply. Not even a bird chirped. Come on, come on, come on! Somebody answer me!! After about thirty seconds I hear a voice. A voice like Stephen’s. Yes! Yes, yes, yes!
‘Stephen!’ I call, ‘I’m here!'
‘Fantastic!’ Says Stephen in a quiet voice.
‘Where are you?’ I say, ‘what street are you in?’
‘Flinteens street,’ says Stephen, ‘but there are no signposts or houses.’
‘Well, I’ve figured out that our planet exploded,’ I say, ‘I’ll come and find you in Flinteens street.’
After fifty minutes had past, I find Stephen lying on the ground, sweating. ‘Stephen, there’s no use just lying there-.’
‘We’re in Adelaide.’ He says.
‘Yes, I know, I’ve already found a café.’
When we get to the café, we talk to a guy who says ‘do your best, live happily, get a job, and maybe even live together.
‘Okay,’ I say, ‘we’ll do our best, goodbye.’
‘Goodbye, he says.
Then we walk out of the café and yell, ‘Adelaide!’

Okay, well that’s the end of the story. Stephen and I got a job and lived, well… happily ever after.
But wait a minute. Something is watching us.
Something I recognise. Something from Taxacaricaturia. No, no, no, no.
‘NO!’ Stephen yells. Good. He saw it too.
‘Go away!’ I scream, ‘go away!’ It shivers, but comes closer.
‘Don’t even THINK about it!’ I scream even louder.
It starts to grow really big. ‘HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!’ says the creature, ‘I will take over this puny world!’ Oh no, not again.
Yes! That’s it!
‘Stephen,’ I say, ‘all we have to do to defeat it is to blow something up. Um… Aha! A fire extinguisher!’
‘Okay, ‘Stephen says, ‘ I’ll grab one. About thirty seconds later, Stephen comes back with a fire extinguisher.
‘Okay, hold on tight… “SSSHHH!” After the black out, Stephen and I wake up to find we landed somewhere like Taxacaricaturia… wait a second, it’s Taxacaricaturia!
‘We’re back!!!!’
