The bell sang the release song,
The bus pushed me off saying, “No more!”
The path lead me home.
The door was angry at me,
So the window let me in.
The towel scared the rain off me,
As the T.V. jumped to my favourite channel,
The homework is hoping in my face,
But it didn’t let me answer a few questions,
But the pencil fought hard,
The plate jumped into my lap,
As the spaghetti launched itself onto the plate,
The clock yelled eight thirty!
The pyjamas climbed onto me,
The bed hugged me,
The laptop asked for a play date,
But quickly the laptop fell asleep,
But the iPod snuck under my doona,
The iPod Sang music,
As the doona lay on me until I fell asleep.
