lonely drives on stolen time
lives and houses flashing by
finding solace on the road
tonight this is do or die
feeling the road move underneath
working the pedals with certain feet
after this there's no going home
never going back to that street
wishing, wanting something more
than this town ever had before
they've lost their chance to give It now
no wasting time on them any more
the further away the better it feels
the signs on the street say this is real
one last look in the mirror back at the town
but both hands on the wheel
