Her face stings, from all those tears,
She must dry her eyes and face her fears,
Her heart skips a beat,
And she weeps in admittance of defeat.
Stormy weather rips through the air,
Another day goes by; but she doesn’t care,
She just sits there, wishing her life away,
Being useless day after day.
Her life is full of false hopes and dreams,
Her stomach twitches and inside of her screams,
Louder and louder the thunder roars,
She cares of nothing anymore.
She hears strange voices inside of her head,
Telling her she’d be better off dead,
The thunderstorm passes and sun shine comes her way,
But she’s still haunted in her mind by the mess and decay.
