Death and destruction in a place of peace
Those among us fall into an endless sleep
The graves of the dead under our feet
Slowly disappearing under the toxic sleet
We must not forget
The lies and the regrets
That haunt the souls of those
Who forever seek eternal rest
Hope and Happiness weep in a place
Which to those involved is a haunted space
Our generations to follow and our generations past
Will never forget when the flag was at half mast
