I Am

I am a girl with a distant dream
I wonder what to others it seems
I hear the words fall onto the page
I see my charaters up on the stage
I want to be known near and far
I am I hope like the evening star

I pretend i am writer of the year
I feel like my dream in almost clear
I touch the glory with all my heart
I worry about when i should start
I dream that the day is soon to come
I try not to hear the beatings of drums.

So why my pen is ready,
And while my paper is new
I know I should hold it steady
I am a creater,
through and through
