Leafless Tree

After a long walk
I looked up the tree stalk
the tree everyone wanted to climb
I asked my mum she said 'In time'
grabbing limb after limb until one cracked
the branch i held onto suddenly snapped
child after child fell down with me
whilst the people at the bottom bagan to flee
'Thud!' goes the ground
with an echoing sound
Eventually I woke up dizzily
As everyone tried to resuscitate me busily
'Hooray' goes the crowd
Even though I am not proud
