Ode To The Beach

When the sun is blazing hot
Shining so bright
Down to the beach we go
To the ocean I run
Where I swim
The cool sea water
Kills the burning sun
There is so much to do
Giving us endless fun
Sand castles we build
Waves knock them down
We dig up shells
Washing them in nearby rock pools
Oh how I could spend a whole day at the beach!
But now it's getting late
The tide is coming in
We pack up and say goodbye
Till the next day
When the sun rises
Again
