Ode To Summer

Bright morning sun that lasts until late at night
Drinking cold drinks
Eating tasty ice cream
Going to the beach and spending all day there
Putting on sunscreen
Getting a tan
Going for a swim in the shimmering ocean
Having water fights with water guns and water balloons
Building sandcastles on the beach
Burying people in the sand till you can just see their heads
Warm summer air
Now that the weather has gotten a little cooler I'm off to bed
Oh summer how much I like your season!
